Cold storage envelopes, panels and doors.
Coolers, freezers and perishable-food environments. The envelope and its doors, plus door replacement in rooms already built.

Shred cheese room.
Insulated wall and ceiling panels for the shred room at a cheese manufacturer, a room the customer keeps cooled.
Cooled shred room, cheese manufacturing
Cooler and freezer doors, by how the opening has to work.
High-speed roll-up
For openings that cycle constantly and cannot afford to stand open. Freezer-rated systems are part of this family.
High-speed freezer doorsPower-operated bi-parting
Two leaves from the center, for wide openings and traffic that has to keep moving.
Bi-parting and single-slide doorsPower-operated vertical slide
The leaf lifts rather than swinging aside, for openings where there is no room beside the door for a leaf to travel.
Single-slide
The workhorse cooler and freezer door.
Swing and personnel egress
For people rather than pallets, and for the egress route out of a rated envelope.
We supply Jamison cooler and freezer doors, and other makers’ where they suit the opening better.
A slide door needs more wall than the opening.
It needs room beside the opening for the leaf to travel into, and room above it for the track. These are the rough numbers to allow at the design stage.
Manual horizontal slide
Power-operated single slide
Rough sizing for laying a building out, not an order. The unit that gets built is measured on site.
Power operation, and doors that do not stand open.
Which door belongs in an opening is the part we get paid for. These are types we specify often, not a catalog. The right one comes out of the temperature, the traffic, the opening and what has to move through it.
Power-operated bi-parting doors
Two leaves driving from the center on power operation, for wide openings where traffic cannot stop and the envelope still has to close behind it.
Power-operated vertical-slide doors
The leaf lifts instead of traveling sideways. The answer where there is no room beside the opening for a leaf to go.
High-speed roll-up doors, freezer-rated
For freezer openings that cycle constantly. Speed is the insulation here. The less time it stands open, the less the room gives up.
High-speed roll-up doors, cooler and clean-room
The same speed argument in a cooler or a controlled room, where what matters is as much about keeping conditions in and contamination out as it is about temperature.
Stainless construction is available across the cold-storage door lines and is the usual answer in caustic wash-down rooms.
Blast-freezer doors.
A blast freezer is not a colder version of the same room, and its doors are not a colder version of the same door. The temperature difference across the opening is far more severe, and the door has to be built for it.
Blast-freezer sliding doors
Built for the temperature difference a blast freezer runs across the opening, not adapted from a standard freezer door.
Blast and spiral freezer doorsPersonnel blast-freezer doors
The same severity, sized for a person rather than a pallet. The door a crew actually uses to get in and out.
Which door belongs in an opening is an application question: operating temperature, how often the opening cycles, what goes through it, the aisle beside it, whether it is automated, and whether it is on the egress route. Give us the opening and we will work it out. It does not come off a chart.
We service what we sell.
Product we sold is product we stand behind. That means the conversation does not end when the material ships, and it does not end when a paperwork obligation would have ended it.
We back our own product
If something we supplied is not doing what it was specified to do, that is our problem to work through with you.
Replacement, evaluated
An existing freezer or cold-storage door that has reached the end of its life: we will look at the opening and quote replacing it.
Replacing a freezer or cooler doorConsulting on a system that failed
Temperature-controlled environments and freezer systems that have stopped working, including ones we did not build, are something we have been called into for decades. Working out what went wrong is a real part of what we do.
Consulting on failed freezersWe do not run a general repair crew, install doors bought elsewhere or fix other contractors' work. Where a federal inspection citation puts a food plant's processing at risk, we will review it and may remediate. Repairs are quote-based and scoped to the product lines we sell or service. Call the office and ask for Don Ross.
Clark Door is out of business, but we can still help with gaskets and seals for Clark cooler and freezer doors. For a Hercules, Chase, Frank, ED or ASI door, see replacing another maker's freezer door.
