Food processing wall panels, chosen by the room.
Wall and ceiling panels for food plants, chosen by the room. A room held cold takes an insulated metal panel. A room at room temperature that gets washed down takes FRP or UtiLite.
Insulated panels are installed by our crews or supplied material-only. FRP and UtiLite are supplied only; the contractor doing the work installs them.
What the room holds, the temperature, and the wall and ceiling square footage. Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

The room decides the wall.
Food plants like the panel because they can wash the walls down and keep them clean.
An insulated panel has a finished face on both sides. There is no fiberglass blanket to get dirty and no liner to hang inside.
An inspector looks at the finished room: the joints, the corners and how it cleans. No panel passes a room by itself.
What goes on a food plant wall.
Rooms held cold: QuadCore KS Flat Interior
Flat, non-porous faces on both sides, for interior walls and ceilings where cleaning and contamination control decide the room.
QuadCore KS Flat InteriorA face for wash-down chemicals
CLEANsafe 120, a PVC film laminated to the metal, ordered where wash-down chemicals and humidity would take an ordinary paint finish apart. Stainless skins are the other choice.
CLEANsafe 120No girt to hold water
On some food plants we have broken metal over the horizontal girts and vapor sealed them. No flat girt is left to hold water or bacteria, and the room can be hosed down.
Walls that need a fire rating
Kingspan K-Roc FX, with a mineral fiber core that gets thicker as the rating goes up.
Fire-rated wall panelsRooms at room temperature: FRP
A non-absorbent, wipeable sheet that takes steam and high-pressure washing, with trim on every edge. Supplied only.
FRP for kitchens and food plantsWet all day and white: UtiLite
An extruded PVC panel with tongue-and-groove edges, in white only, with fewer seams. Supplied only.
UtiLite interlocking panels

Questions buyers ask
What wall panels are used in food processing plants?
It depends on the room. A cooler, freezer or cooled process room takes an insulated metal panel. A room at room temperature that gets washed down takes FRP, or UtiLite where the room is wet all day and can be white.
Are these panels food grade?
The inspector judges the finished room, not the panel: the joints, the corners and how it cleans. We supply faces made for wash-down, such as CLEANsafe 120 and stainless skins, and the trim that closes the edges.
Can the walls be hosed down?
Yes. On some food plants we have broken metal over the horizontal girts and vapor sealed them. No flat girt is left to hold water or bacteria, and the room can be hosed down.
Have you built a food plant room?
Yes. Insulated wall and ceiling panels for the shred room at a cheese manufacturer, a room the customer keeps cooled.
Do you install food plant wall panels?
Insulated panels, either way: our crews install them, or we supply them material-only. FRP and UtiLite we supply; the contractor doing the work installs them.
What does the room hold?
