Doors supplied for Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.
Supplied and built. Somebody arrives asking for a catalog door and leaves with a solution designed around the opening.
D.W. Ross supplies and builds doors; the contractor doing the work installs them.
When people hear custom, they think expensive.
It is the assumption we argue with most. People price a custom door against what they think custom costs, not against what they were going to buy anyway, and the comparison against a big-box unit is closer than they expect, with a better configuration at the end of it.
Interior and exterior, residential and commercial.
Doors are their own category here, not an afterthought attached to windows. Some are ordered, where a catalog door is the right answer. The rest are built here, because the opening does not have a catalog number.
Entry doors and sidelites for houses, interior doors, and hollow metal and flush doors for commercial work: one door supplier in Cleveland for all of it.
The useful conversation is about the opening, the house, and what you actually want the door to look like. A design comes out of those three answers, and it gets there faster than a spec table does.
Cooler and freezer doors are a different product with a different path: cooler and freezer doors, under Temperature Controlled Environments.
Contractors, builders and project buyers work with D.W. Ross out of 3195 West 63rd Street on Cleveland's west side. Material for Cleveland, Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio jobs is quoted, ordered and picked up or delivered from here.
Commercial doors, including hollow metal doors.
D.W. Ross sells commercial doors as well as residential ones, and hollow metal doors are a core part of that. Bring the door schedule, the drawings or a list of openings and we will work through what each one needs.
Supplied to the job. The contractor doing the work installs them.

Most people start by asking for a door they have seen.
The better question is what the opening is and what you want it to look like. Modern, Craftsman, something that suits the house. Designing the door around that answer is the part of this we are actually good at, and it is why a catalog number is usually where the conversation starts rather than where it ends.
Custom wood doors
Built rather than ordered, to suit an opening or a house that no catalog door fits.
Finished before it ships
Painted or stained here, so the door arrives on site done rather than as another trade's problem.
Fiberglass, finished like wood
A stainable fiberglass door taken to a wood appearance, where the opening wants the look but not the maintenance.
Glass changed to suit
A standard slab modified for different glass: clear, obscure, decorative, or privacy where a door faces a street.
Caming and decorative leaded glass
Leaded work in a range of finishes, made up as an insulated unit rather than a single pane.
Simulated divided light
The grid pattern of a true divided-lite door with the insulated glass unit left intact.
Blinds between the glass
Sealed inside the unit, so there is nothing to dust and nothing to pull off the wall.
Custom grid colors
The grid does not have to match the sash, and it does not have to be white.
Craftsman dentil shelves
The detail that makes a Craftsman door read as one rather than as a slab with trim.
Doors that solve a problem
A door built around how the room is used. An operable window in the door itself, where the opening has to let air in while the access stays locked.
Radius storm doors.
Round-top, Gothic point and the other arches each need a storm door made to the arch. D.W. Ross supplies them as an Arch Angle dealer.
