Arch Angle storm doors, from a Cleveland dealer.
D.W. Ross is an Arch Angle dealer in Cleveland. Arch Angle builds storm doors to the arch, so a round-top or Gothic point entry is not left behind a rectangle.
D.W. Ross supplies the storm door; the contractor doing the work installs it.
Storm doors made for arched openings.
A round-top or Gothic opening does not stop at the main door. The storm door has to fit the same arch, so it is built to the opening rather than picked off a rack.
Gothic point is the shape people get told no on. The aluminum changes bend direction at the point, so it has to be stretch-bent or it kinks.
Storm doors by arch shape.
Gothic point
Two curves that meet at a point. The aluminum is stretch-bent where it changes direction, so it does not kink.
Gothic arch storm doorsTudor
Tudor is one of the arch types Arch Angle builds storm doors to, and Arch Angle says most of its doors, special shapes included, are one of four basic panel styles. There is no Tudor job on this site yet, so start with a photograph and rough measurements of the opening.
How to measure an arched openingThe other shapes
Segment, oval, cathedral, hexagon, triangle, diagonal and rectangle. Arch Angle builds storm doors to each, and a photograph of the opening shows which one you have.

How the panels work
Full View
Nearly full-view glass and screen panels, interchangeable with the seasons and held in with color-matched aluminum retainer clips.
2-Lite
A center bar splits the door into a top and bottom panel, glass or screen, each interchangeable and held in with color-matched aluminum retainer clips.
Self-Storing
Nothing to take out or store each season. The top glass is fixed; the bottom inside glass panel slides up to the start of the arch for ventilation, and the bottom outside half screen stays in place and can be rescreened from outside.
Half View
Only the custom top portion carries interchangeable glass and screen. The bottom is a solid aluminum panel, reinforced vertically or horizontally — built for a home with pets, small children, or where security matters more than the view.
French Sets
Matched pairs, for an opening built for two doors rather than one.
Hardware
Standard is a black push button, with or without a key, or a black pull with no key. Upgraded handles come in a range of finishes.

Upgrades
Start with a photograph of the arch.
A photograph and rough measurements of the opening are enough: the width where the curve starts and the height to the top of the arch. Shape, panel style and color can be settled after that.
