Round-top storm doors for arched entries.

Storm doors built to a round-top opening, so an arched entry is not left behind a rectangle. D.W. Ross is an Arch Angle dealer in Cleveland.

Round-top, arch-top, radius-top.

Three names for one shape: the head of the opening is a half circle.

Arch Angle lists round-top and segment as separate arch types. If the curve over your door looks flatter than a half circle, send a photograph and we will sort out which one it is.

The panels.

Self-Storing

Nothing to take out each season. The top glass is fixed, and the bottom inside glass slides up to the start of the arch for air.

Half View

Only the arched top carries glass and screen. The bottom is a solid aluminum panel, for a house with pets or small children.

Full View and 2-Lite

Glass and screen panels you change with the seasons: nearly the full door, or a top and bottom panel either side of a center bar.

Arch Angle options for a round-top door.

Arch Angle says most of its storm doors, special shapes included, are one of four basic styles.

Questions buyers ask

Is a round-top storm door the same as an arch-top storm door?

Yes. Round-top, arch-top and radius-top are names for the same shape: an opening whose head is a half circle.

Can a round-top storm door store its own glass and screen?

Nothing to take out or store each season. The top glass is fixed; the bottom inside glass panel slides up to the start of the arch for ventilation, and the bottom outside half screen stays in place and can be rescreened from outside.

What do I measure for a round-top storm door?

The width where the curve starts and the height to the top of the arch, plus a photograph of the opening.

Do you install round-top storm doors?

No. D.W. Ross supplies the storm door; the contractor doing the work installs it.
