How to measure an arched opening for a radius storm door.
You do not need a finished measurement to start a radius storm door. A photograph of the opening and two rough numbers are enough to tell which arch the storm door has to follow.
D.W. Ross supplies the storm door; the contractor doing the work installs it.
What to send.
A photograph of the opening. The width where the curve starts. The height to the top of the arch, or to the point if the arch is Gothic.
If the arch is irregular, has settled, or is different inside and out, photograph both faces.
