Two ways to put it down.
Most rooms take the click plank: it locks together and floats.
For apartment hallways, common areas and anywhere walked on all day, there is a square-edge plank that is glued down in pressure-sensitive adhesive.
The reason to want it is what happens when one plank gets ruined. A square-edge glued plank comes up and a new one goes down in its place. On a clicked floor you are unlocking a run to reach the damaged board.

Click or glue-down?
Both. The click plank locks together for most rooms. The square-edge glue-down plank is for high-traffic floors such as apartment hallways and common areas.
Why glue down vinyl plank in an apartment building?
So one damaged plank can come up and a new one go down in its place, without unlocking a whole run of a clicked floor to reach it.
Does the plank have a pad?
Yes. Closed-cell rubber backing is on the plank. Because the cell is closed, it is not meant to take up moisture the way an open-cell cushion would.
Do you sell laminate too?
We sell laminate flooring as well. It is not pictured here; call and ask what fits the room.
Do you install flooring?
No. We supply the flooring; the contractor doing the work installs it.
